Accessibility

Last updated: June 7, 2026

We want AK Help to work for everyone, including people who use assistive technology. The organizations our users work for fight for inclusion — the tools they use should practice it.

Our target

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. For an application like this one, the parts that matter most are:

  • Full keyboard access to the chat interface, navigation, and account screens
  • Screen reader compatibility, including sensible announcement of new chat responses
  • Sufficient color contrast in both the interface and generated content
  • Text that scales without breaking the layout

Where we are

AK Help is a young product and we review accessibility as it evolves. We don't claim full conformance yet — chat interfaces have real accessibility challenges, especially around live-updating content — but the target is set and we fix issues as we find them.

Tell us what's broken

If something in AK Help doesn't work with your setup — screen reader, keyboard, magnification, anything — email [email protected] with what you were doing and what went wrong. Accessibility reports go to the top of the fix list. And if a barrier is keeping you from getting an answer you need, email us the question and we'll get you the answer directly while we work on the fix.
